{The Ordinary Moments} #1 - Daddy Passed!

Tuesday, March 31, 2015

Today Jono qualified as a driving instructor after a year and a half of tough training, and I couldn't be prouder of him! He deiced quite a while ago now that he wanted a change in career, and signed up to become a driving instructor as it's something he's wanted to do for a while now. He's an excellent driver, and he's going to be such a great teacher!

Whilst he's only just passed his final test and is yet to begin teaching I can already tell that this is going to be an exciting adventure for our little family. Jono being self employed will give us more flexibility as a family, and will make it easier when I go back to work myself. It will be such a big change, and a scary one too as it may take some time for Jono to build up a client base, but everything will slot into place the way life always does, and I can't wait!

Whilst Jono is now a very qualified driver I am still yet to take my test, so that is my next challenge. I've actually been learning to drive on and off for the past four years and have yet to take my test as it keeps being postponed... our wing mirror was even kicked off before my test once, and I swear it wasn't me! My test is currently booked again, so come June I may be let lose on the roads (but I very much doubt it!).

Linking up with Katie from Mummy Daddy Me for this post - I love reading hers so thought I'd give it a go too :)
