I'm going to stop with the cheese there, and move swiftly on to how we have celebrated Jono's first Father's Day. We decided to spend the day together as a family of three with no specific plans other than to watch the Austrian Grand Prix. We don't do big presents, so instead I bought Jono a few bottles of his favourite beer, made some bunting and a fry up for breakfast. Of course he got the obligatory hand made cards too which Zach and I had a lot of fun making during the week!
In the afternoon we headed out for a little adventure with nothing planned but to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. We walked down to the river, and after listening to the local brass band play in the park we decided to go on a river tour. Zach's first ever boat ride! It is something that we have been meaning to do for a long time, and today felt like the perfect occasion. The grey skies served as a dramatic backdrop against the shimmering water, and beautiful green fields - and we're so glad it didn't start to rain! I'll leave you with the photos from our day, and I hope you had a lovely Sunday too!
