Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Party Inspiration

14:05

February will see our little boy turn one, and I can't quite believe how close we are to celebrating his first birthday. Watching Zach grow before our eyes has been a blessing, and we are soon to loose the last traces of baby as he becomes a cheeky toddler. With that in mind I decided that we would keep his first birthday party a little 'babyish'. I wanted the theme to resonate with his first year, and so I decided on a 'twinkle twinkle little star' theme. It is a song that we have sung to Zach since birth, and one that holds so many memories for us. After a browse on Pinterest (my go-to place for inspiration) my mind was set and I began to collect ideas for his party.

We will be hosting Zach's twinkle twinkle little star party at our house, and so we have free reigns on food and decorations. The colour scheme will be gold and white, and will of course feature lots of stars. I plan to make a lot of the decorations myself, as well as the cake. I have lots of grand plans, although I'm sure I won't achieve them all. I thought I would share the images I am using for inspiration, all of which were found on Pinterest.
