Cushions - H&M Home | Mirror - Fishpools | Blanket- Holly's House | Cement Pot - SORT
Pouff - Bombay Duck | Rug - West Elm | Glass Coffee Table - Fishpools

I spend a large chunk of my time looking at and dreaming about homeware. We've lived in our house for a year and a half now, but it still doesn't look quite the way we I want it to. Hopefully now I am back at work and no longer surviving on maternity pay we can start making some changes in these parts.

The mood board above combines the pieces I've got my eye on for our living room. It's where we spend the most time when we're home, and I like it to have a clean and calm feel. I tend to stick to monochrome with a few pops of colour from accessories, prints and house plants. I think that it looks so simple and timeless, although having lots of white probably isn't the greatest idea when living with a toddler!

This glass coffee table from Fishpools is gorgeous. I love the chunky wooden legs combined with the clear top and think it would look great on this dotty rug from West Elm. I'd pop a leafy green plant in a cement pot on top of it, although that might have to wait until Zach is a little older for that one!

I've also got my eye on this mirror from Fishpools. We recently broke the one we had above the mantle piece in our living room, and this one would be a great replacement. Mirrors instantly make a room look bigger, and I love the simplicity of the wooden frame as I'm not really keen on elborate designs.

I also like to have lots of soft furnishings in our living room to make it feel extra cosy. Cushions are a great way to change the look of a room and I am obsessed with these two from H&M Home. This pouff from Bombay Duck is what dreams are made of, and I'm keeping my eye on it to see when it comes back into stock. Lastly I've added a blanket which looks so soft - perfect for keeping warm on the sofa whilst watching Netflix and eating all the snacks!

Written in collaboration with Fishpools, however all opinions are my own.
