Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Party

17:37

It's been a month now since we celebrated Zach's birthday with a 'twinkle twinkle little star' themed party and I thought it was high time I shared some of the details.

I made most of the decorations and food myself, and really enjoyed putting everything together. I baked a really simple vanilla sponge cake with white chocolate butter cream which I covered in edible gold glitter for Zach's birthday cake. It turned out really well and tasted delicious! My favourite DIY was the star shaped tortilla chips, so go check out the recipe because they are so easy to make.

We hung stars from our light fixtures and curtain poles, placed little vases of white baby's breath around the room and lit lots of fairy lights. We also put up a few photos of Jono from when he was one, and it was really lovely to see how similar they look!

I didn't take as many photos as I wanted, so there's quite a few things I haven't shared as I just didn't capture everything which is my one regret. The party itself was so much fun, and it was so lovely to be surrounded by so many people who love our little boy! Here are the photos:

I can't wait until next year to do it all again!
