Weekly Meal Plan #809:30
I missed last week's meal plan because I actually had only two meals planned. I have started a second job meaning that I am out of the house two evenings a week between now and Christmas, and as I normally do all the cooking this means things have had to change a little. I've found a new love for frozen bags of rice and vegetables as they are just so convenient and way more healthy than ready meals, and Jono has taken over the cooking two nights a week.
Speaking of food, I'm thinking about joining Slimming World, although I'm not sure it's worth doing so before Christmas to be totally honest. I've decided that I would make a step in that direction and try out some of the recipes from their website; there are actually so many amazing recipes on there, and I'm really impressed with the amount that you can eat when you're on their plan.
Here's what is on our menu this week:
MONDAY - Gardener's pie + green beans
TUESDAY - I'm at work, so it's Linda McCartney Sausages, sweet potato fries + veg for the boys
WEDNESDAY - Late night Quorn burrito bowl
THURSDAY - Chicken supreme, broccoli + rice
FRIDAY - Mushroom stroganoff , green beans + rice
LUNCHES: Homemade butternut squash soup, leftover gardener's pie
