Little Women, Two Door Cinema Club & a New Haircut #LittleLoves

Hello!

I am so excited to be linking up with Morgana each week for #LittleLoves again this year! I think it is so important to celebrate the small things in life, as well as all the big exciting things, and I am so glad that I started doing these posts as it is so lovely to look back at them.

This week has seen us getting back into our routine after the holidays, and I have to say I feel like I could have done with another week off just to sort our house out as we have so much stuff at the moment! I really need to get on top of it all. It has been really nice though to be less busy, and I'm so ready to get organised and in control and make 2017 the best year yet!

READ

I'm actually reading the very same book that I read at this time last year: Little Women. It is my all time favourite book, and I am making a new little tradition where it is the first book that I read each year. I've also just bought the film, which I absolutely loved to watch as a child, and I can't wait to sit down with a big hot chocolate and watch it for the first time in forever.

WATCHED

Until last week's Christmas special I had never seen an episode of Jonathan Creek, but I am now totally hooked and have been watching it from the very beginning on Netflix. It is now totally my dream to live in a windmill, and obviously I think it would be super cool to solve mysteries too, but I'm not very good at working them out, so I don't think I'd do a very good job.

MADE

This week was all about getting organised again. I made so many lists, and plans, and I'm feeling so much more organised! I decided to sit down with my bullet journal and get everything ready for 2017, and I am so pleased with my setup. I've found a massive change in my productivity levels since starting a bullet journal, and I feel so much more on top of everything now my whole life is in one place.

WORE

A new hair cut! I am absolutely awful at remembering to get my hair cut, and this was my first one in a year! Yes that's right, A WHOLE YEAR!! It feels so much better now, and my head feels lighter, and I am just so happy I finally got round to it! I have already booked my next appointment in eight weeks time because I know if I don't I will keep forgetting again, and again, and again.

HEARD

Jono has been playing a lot of Two Door Cinema Club recently as we are going to see them at the end of the month. They are one of his favourite bands, and we were supposed to see them perform at Latitude festival a few years ago but unfortunately they weren't able to make it, so this gig is long overdue and we are very excited!

AND LASTLY...

I hope that I will be more organised next week and schedule this post in advance because I will be flying to Las Vegas on Friday!! I am super excited, although I still have lots of things to do, like getting myself some dollars and packing my suitcase! I'm also really worried about leaving Zach for a whole week, but I'm sure that he will hardly notice I've gone (or will he..?)

Eeeeep!

How have you not watched Jonathan Creek before?! I'm shocked, but happy you've rectified that. Such a great show, and like you, I also now want to live in a windmill!

  3. I love Little Women and Jonathan Creek! I'm guessing you are much younger than me though as I was hooked on Jonathan Creek in the 90s. Hope you have an amazing time in Vegas xx

  9. I love the idea of a bullet journal but my messy handwriting would annoy me! I have a planner this year and am loving it so far. Your hair looks lovely and good on you for booking the next one in - I had mine cut yesterday and it feels so much better! x
