Living Arrows 2/5219:45
"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth" - Khalil Gibran
Each week I will be sharing a photo of Zach, capturing a moment which otherwise would have been forgotten, and tracking the changes as he grows from a baby to a boy.
These photos are from yesterday, when we spent the day with my dad and sister. We hadn't intended to go out anywhere, but the weather was warm and we decided on an impromptu trip to the country park. I actually wish we had been a little more prepared as it was seriously muddy, but we had a great time despite being caked in mud by the time we headed home.
I've mentioned before that my sister is Zach's favourite person in the whole wide world, and this hasn't changed one bit. They love each other so much more than I could ever have expected, and their bond is so beautiful to see. Zach chases after her, calling her "Eeeeee! Eeeee!" and together they explore, climb and play.
Yesterday Zach conquered the wobbly bridge with her help, and it was lovely to watch her guide him across and be there to catch him should he trip. It meant that I could take a step back and take some photos, and I even managed to warm up with a cup of tea whilst they played together - absolute bliss!
