Las Vegas Photo Diary

Tuesday, February 21, 2017

It's probably about time that I shared my Las Vegas photos, right?

It's been just over a month since I jetted off to America with two of the girls to celebrate my best friend's 30th birthday, and we had the most incredible time. I had no idea what to expect, and wasn't even sure if I was even going to like Vegas, but I absolutely loved it.

There is so much to do in Vegas, aside from the obvious gambling and drinking, that we didn't even mange to fit everything in, despite being there for a week. I would love to go back and experience it all again!

Without a doubt the most amazing thing we did was visit the Grand Canyon. There is no way that I can possibly explain how spectacular it is, and the photos seriously do not do it justice! We took a helicopter down to the basin, and it was one of the best experiences of my life - I definitely want to take Zach when he's older.

Other highlights were a meal at The Cheesecake Factory, watching the fountains at the Bellagio, cocktails and rides at the top of the Stratosphere, watching Cirque du Soleil 'O', buffet brunch at the Cosmopolitan with unlimited mimosas, the macaroni and cheese at Gordon Ramsey's Steak restaurant (seriously!), shopping in Target and seeing all of the lights on Freemont Street.

Just looking through these photos gives me some serious post-holiday blues:
