Weekly Meal Plan #17

So last week's mission of eating only what we had in the house went terribly, and I think we actually ended up spending more money on food than we normally do! By the middle of the week I was already bored of the meals I had planned, and we ended up going out for dinner. I also did two 'smaller' top up shops, so all in all I think it would have been better to just do a proper shop! I will say though that the cod risotto I made was delicious, so we will definitely be having that again!

This week we are back to normal, and I am sharing a full 7 days rather than just the 5. We don't tend to plan meals for the weekend as we usually have plans, so we don't know what we'll be eating, but this week I wanted to get a bit more organised. I can't wait to have a BBQ on Saturday - hopefully the weather will be as hot as it was this weekend.

This week's menu:

MONDAY - Diet coke chicken + cheese jacket potatoes

TUESDAY - Pesto pasta + greens

WEDNESDAY - Linda McCartney Sausages, cous cous + veg

THURSDAY - Butternut squash + bacon risotto

FRIDAY - Spaghetti bolognese


SUNDAY - Gammon, chips + veg
