Wedding Talk #3 - The Perfect Wedding Milestone Cards

Thursday, March 08, 2018

It's been three months since I last updated you on our wedding plans, and although I have so much to update you on I really want to talk about a little purchase which has made me even more excited for our big day. I'm talking about a set of milestone cards, and I know that it might seem a bit extreme to be writing a whole post about a cards, but I am just so happy with them.

When we were first engaged, over a year ago now, I had a little look online but I didn't spot any that I liked the look of, and to be honest I kind of forgot about them. As time went by, and we got on with our wedding plans, they definitely weren't a priority, but the other night I was searching through the internet for all things wedding related and I spotted these ones by Frankie and Boo.

I let out a little squeal when I saw them as the design just screams our wedding theme, and I knew that I needed them to document the rest of our wedding planning. Obviously by this point we've already booked a fair few things, so a few of the cards won't be relevant for us, but I spotted a little note at the bottom of the page saying that they would be happy to make some bespoke cards for the pack.

So, at 11pm I sent over an email requesting five extra cards, and at 7am the next morning I received the most prompt response I think I've ever had! They were happy to make me the cards I had requested to add to the set, and a few days later a lovely little parcel came through my letter box containing them.

And look at them! They are absolutely prefect!

I'm going to take a photo with the relevant card throughout the rest of our planning, I've also ordered a few prints of photos we've taken during the wedding planning process so far so that I can put together a scrapbook. I've enjoyed wedding planning SO much more than I thought I would, and I'm definitely not the total bridezilla that I had predicted (although there's still time... watch this space!)
